Hello friends, new instance, quick intro:

I'm Dan (he/they), I live in Hamilton Ontario Canada aka #HamOnt and this is my woodworking account on the Fedi.

Mostly doing veneer marquetry lately, and sometimes I also do things like #spoon carving, sculpture, wooden #boxes, small furniture, housewares, or random things like acoustic wall treatments.

Friends:

A friend (like a daughter to me) is being stalked. The guy has an uncanny ability of knowing where she is. We’re trying to figure out how.

Tech folks: Any recommendations on a good AirTag tracker? (She has an iPhone)

Women: Any ideas/suggestions/relevant experience?

There seems to be a consistent 120 second delay before he gets to where she is. Too consistent to be a coincidence. Cell carrier perhaps? Private Investigator?

During the Jan. 6 attack I was on the House floor when rioters broke through the doors and breached the Capitol.

I heard glass breaking and pounding on the doors and I texted Aly, who was seven months pregnant with our second son at the time, "Whatever happens, I love you."

That day is one of many, many reasons I know Ted Cruz has got to go. His MAGA extremism is bad for Texas and our country, and it's time to hold him accountable.

I'm not here to be sold things by, or see ads for, corporations, but if you make, grow or create something yourself, post it. If you used to get by on Twitter, and you're struggling since its destruction, I want to see that even more.

Maybe some of y'all are anti-commerce in all forms, and I wish you luck with that, but in the real world a lot of artists, growers and makers are struggling. I care about that much more than any commercial purity test.
