I've been around what I call "fandom clusters" based on what series I enjoy often together in crossover-styled manner (or used to):
- Super Smash Bros 64 -> Brawl x Captain Rainbow (yes, both of them together, if you know latter and love it, talk to me). This means all series or characters depicted in them.
(4 + Ultimate varies as I'm anti-3rd Parties over time + ignorance of obscure Nintendo-IPs majorly)
- Azumanga Daioh, Lucky Star, Ouran, Hayate no Gotoku, Toradora! (Good bit of my fan OCs come from this "cluster")
- 90s' Anime & Cartoons all around, often linked in tropes and elements seen in Roger Rabbit/Animaniacs, and Re:Creators.
(I'm not kidding, stick with what's shown in CN/Toonami and KidsWB, throw wee bit of Disney Afternoon and ton of 80s to 90s' Anime OVAs and cult classic/mainstream series through syndication and VHS, and you have relative picture of what I'm into).
Sub-category of this is me exploring also olden cartoons and anime from 30s to 70s. (Some of my personal fanfic AUs are based around this.
Some clusters I have in this are: Tenchi Muyo/Ranma 1/2/Ah My Goddess,
Single IP/fandom engagement meanwhile are:
- Symphogear (Recent, I'm going through AXZ very slowly due having to wait for my friends to gather all together for 2 ep watch weekly - unfortunately it's become bit stalled. I)
- Neon Genesis Evangelion
- Sakura Wars
- Re:Creators (Pretty dead IP though, but that's where my waifie comes from, see my banner)
- Madoka Magica
- Flip Flappers
- You're Under Arrest!
- Pokemon (Relatively, up to Gen 7. Includes PokeAni, but also kind of preference-based on seasons, I'm mixed on it despite growing with it)
- Archie Sonic & Mega Man
- Raildex (Pretty surface-level, prefer Railgun to Index)
- Duckverse-comics (I have easiest access to it as a Finn-born after all and got also a whole book with Don Rosa's autograph in it~)
- Bojack Horseman
- The Amazing World of Gumball
- Tales of (Symphonia and Phantasia mainly, haven't been around eons.)
- Fire Emblem (Up to Awakening. Looong ago I visited it though.)
- Rival Schools (eternally timeless to me)
- Sword Art Online
(Looking to make a manifesto on how everyone is getting the series wrong and also stop treating it like Ronald Reagan of 2010s' Anime unless it's that overrated Abridged-version. I'm tired of my bisexual bisaster swordsman being treated like garbage for things he's not even remotely responsible for)
I have plenty more Fandoms I'm into however, so I might have to tag a bigger list to all of them later on.
