A few weeks ago a stray pigeon took up residence in our carport. It didn't look wild & I thought it must be an escaped pet - athough it had no leg-ring, so we fed it and it stayed. We named him Clarence.

Sometime after that another, pure white one arrived, which we named Clarissa (our allocation of genders was purely arbitrary)

There was a certain amount of shenanigans on the roof but after a while everything quitened down and peace & harmony reigned.

But now Clarissa has disappeared for a couple of days and I am wondering if she is raising chicks somewhere out of sight and, if so, are we likely to be inundated with a small flock!

The saga of the pigeon pair will continue in due course...

Some may recall that I reported the arrival of a strange pigeon recently; we fed him and named him Clarence

Well now this has happened so we have put up the "No Vacancy" sign
