@juancnuno What do you mean? The three examples listed are basically the same thing, it's just the build systems naming them differently. Regardless of the build system, what internal itself means stays the same.

🥳 Court victory against Meta 🎉

Today, a Dutch judge ruled in favour of EDRi member @bitsoffreedom of Freedom in the appeal vs. Meta.

Facebook and Instagram users will be free to choose how information appears in their feed - and not be forced into algorithmic timelines - will remain intact.

But the fight isn’t over as Meta is still ignoring these rules in other European countries.

💪 We will keep pushing to make sure the law is respected everywhere.

Several European countries are considering social media bans for children. We must regulate platforms, not children. We must shift the burden of safety from the children to the corporations that profit from the environment.

I urge caution:
✅ Focus on "safety by design"
✅ Demand algorithmic transparency

✅ Consult experts, civil society and children

Speaking as a parent my current opinion on internet age verification laws is that after the state starts putting the Epstein class in prison en masse then maybe we can start taking anything else they say about protecting children seriously.
