💯 The Taler protocol suite enables online digital payments that preserve buyer anonymity while ensuring seller taxability and regulatory compliance. This lecture will walk through key protocol flows along with the cryptographic building blocks behind them!
💡 A real-world example of how cryptography can solve privacy challenges in digital payments.
📢 In the context of the ongoing trilogue negotiations on the #AI Omnibus proposal, CDT Europe and other 32 organisations and individuals contributed to an open letter addressed to EU institutions, expressing our concerns about current proposals that could weaken the scope and effectiveness of the AI Act.

📛 Η συνεργασία ανακοινώθηκε χωρίς ανοιχτή και διαφανή διαβούλευση με την εκπαιδευτική κοινότητα,
📛 Υπήρξε σιωπηρή άρνηση πρόσβασης από το Υπουργείο σε κρίσιμα έγγραφα, ακόμη και για ζητήματα προστασίας προσωπικών δεδομένων,
📛Το πρόγραμμα εφαρμόζεται ήδη πιλοτικά σε 20 σχολεία, με χρήση των μοντέλων από εκπαιδευτικούς, και πλέον (Μάρτιος 2026) και μαθητές.
🔍 Παράλληλα, με την Ανοιχτή Επιστολή τίθενται καίρια ερωτήματα:
1/5 🔎 22 Φορείς & Ειδικοί καταθέτουν ερωτήματα για την είσοδο της OpenAI στα ελληνικά σχολεία & απαιτούν διαφάνεια από την Υπουργό Παιδείας, Θρησκευμάτων και Αθλητισμού, κα. Sofia Zacharaki.
