Like many of you, for me #Twitter has become too much. My feed is full of garbage I didn't ask for, and I'm limited in how much of that garbage I can even read. #Tweetdeck is broken if you want to use the version that's been around for years, and the new version that sucks is going to subscribers only. I can only assume at this point that #Musk is pushing people off the platform intentionally, and far be it for me to disappoint him. Now, to rebuild my entire network.

I like Mastodon because -- it promises independence from bigco silos run by megalomaniac billionaires hell-bent on conquering everything. I just want to play with my friends. I'm into working together not world domination. Been there, done that, found it boring and lonely.
