This sounds like an apt description of anything you found posted on X these days.

@pervognsen When I was a kid, Holocaust survivors used to visit schools once in a while and tell their stories and show their marks left on their body and so on. They tended to be in their 60-70s back then. By now, I don't know if there are any left to visit the schools anymore, or sound the alarm in media.

The rise of fascist tendencies in the west coincides in time with the loss of this generation. It's something I reflect on from time to time.

@csk This needs to be made into an Angry Birds level.
@pervognsen This series needs to be expanded with an Alpha Mars.

Not really into astrology, but this is the symbol for "cancer": β™‹

Nice.

@anteru @aras Same. Have had no issues really for the past decade at least.
@andrewwillmott One thing I like about turns is that they, unlike radians, have an exact representation as a float for angles we care a lot about, like 45, 90, 270 degrees etc. So cos(pi / 2) is probably not going to return exactly 0, but some tiny number. You'd need a custom cos/sin functions operating on turns to get full benefits.
Interestingly though, at least on GCN, the actual hardware instructions for sin/cos take turns as inputs rather than radians.

Frankly, at this point of life, I'm increasingly unsure if radians are really the natural way to think of angles. Why not just Turns:
