Good to meet you.

And to @soundclamp - fancy a frisbaton two weeks hence? #listeningclub

Parrot & Cocker had previously collaborated back in 1988 when Jarvis directed the video for Parrot's collaboration with Cabaret Voltaire's Richard H Kirk, Sweet Exorcist's "Testtone", which kinda invented the "Bleep" style of house / techno. Small world, eh?

(Parrot's current guise is Crooked Man, who has delivered some cracking dance tunes and remixes over the past few years)

Well then, you have been listening to the rather insane range of stylings contained in All Seeing I's "Pickled Eggs And Sherbet", from 1999.
All Seeing I were Dean Honer, Jason Buckle and DJ Parrot.
Lyrics mostly by Jarvis Cocker, and guest vocals from himself, alongside Tony "Amarillo" Christie, Phil Oakey from The Human League & Babybird.
Most of these folks are from the city of Sheffield in the UK.
Thanks for listening, hope you enjoyed!

As I said in my intro - It's all pop music to me, mate!

Also tickling me on this album is the re-use / remix of the same backing tracks with different vocals (if you'd noticed), like a Reggae version selection #listeningclub

This tune amusingly titled "Big Pecker".

This guest singer also responsible for most of the lyrics on the album, bless 'im.

#listeningclub

small bonus points for naming the singer, a rare guest spot for him

One of the pleasant surprises of this album for me is the rather unhurried nature of the rollout. That and the huge variety of styles, natch.

A mighty fine first stanza...

"Marie has set up home,
With a man who's half my age,
A halfwit in a leotard,
stands on my stage.."
