Hey y’all! I’m a novice #Scuba enthusiast, thus, the ocean pics in my profile. I’m very new to the Fediverse, so please let me know if I go astray! While I’m not a techie, I am always interested in learning more. I’m more of a “clicktronics” kinda girl….I click on things until it fixes the problem or starts to smoke. 🤣 I joined because I believe in #privacy (as much as possible on the web) and I like all of the rules here.
@glyph, as our world burns, I anxiously await a Phoenix to arise from its ashes (always hopeful), I escape the chaos for a few hours painting cards. I’m still learning to paint on You Tube videos, so they are not professional level, but they are full of love. I started making these cards during COVID, and found some joy. Painting them pulls my attention away from the negativity, and people like getting mail. They show that someone is thinking of them with love. 💕

Truphae has so many fun pen & ink related things. I’m not sure if we can post links, but if you do a search, you will find this small gem of a company. They have many wonderful fountain pens made by excellent companies I had never heard of before, and a monthly subscription box option, which is how I was able to try some out.

@eirliani @feditips your calligraphy is so pretty! I had a wild hair this year and decided to make homemade gift tags for our office party prizes (more to use my wax seals than my calligraphic skills…lol). But I love calligraphy, too.

#JoinIn Feeling very grateful this year for friends who are my family and for the relatives who have become family to me again. Life has a way of pulling you towards the ones you need or that need you. We are on this Earth for a finite time…let’s make it count and be there for others. I will say that I do not understand many of the alternate realities or identities, but I do accept them and embrace your uniqueness. It also means I may stumble on my words sometimes because the language is different for me. 😉 Wishing you all peace and comfort and a happy holiday, for whatever you celebrate.🎄

@rua In my life, I’ve come to realize that “relatives” are the group of people you are born into. “Family” are the ones that are always there for you, loving you no matter what. You have family😉, and if no one has said it today, remember that you are a unique and beautiful embodiment of a soul, and you deserve to be loved and appreciated for that. Thank you for working today, so that others may enjoy time off.

Considering the impact, that's not a lot of money.
But neither is it chump change.
And as Meta's losses increase, so will the monetary risk should they ever pull off these shenanigans again.
