Rofl Republic πTN Seshan will be best remembered as the man who cleaned up elections in India.
As the 10th Chief Election Commissioner of India (1990β96), he reformed elections by largely ending its malpractices in the country and was awarded the Ramon Magsaysay award in 1996.
MusafirIndia lost two great bureaucrats who were committed to democratic reforms.
Rest in power P.S. Krishnan and T.N. Seshan.
I hope the present bureaucracy takes inspiration from them.
