If you are packing good manners, you are well-dressed in any circumstance.

Also since 2020: #SARSCoV2, #LongCovid and #casual things

The main focus of this account is english language.

Sadly, the #SARSCoV2 #pandemic is not yet over.https://risikogebiete-deutschland.de/
Wenn man denkt, man hätte ewig Zeit für die Lösung der riesigen Probleme unserer Zeit, führt man solche Diskussionen mit Habeck:
Depression: A habit of mind, where you treat (imaginary/) possible problems as real problems, and then go on trying to fix those imaginary problems in your imagination while avoiding real action altogether.

All you can do in life is offer yourself (and deny offers by others).

You can try to persuade them, give ample reason why your offer is good.. and in the end they are still the ones that have to accept your offer (or not).

You can't do that for them.
And you should not.

Allow them to come back.

Dirty art.. 👌

The Paradox of Tolerance disappears if you look at tolerance, not as a moral standard, but as a social contract.

If someone does not abide by the terms of the contract, then they are not covered by it.

In other words: The intolerant are not following the rules of the social contract of mutual tolerance.

Since they have broken the terms of the contract, they are no longer covered by the contract, and their intolerance should NOT be tolerated.

[inspired by “Tolerance is not a moral precept”]

If the universe we live in is a simulation, I like to think we’re something that evolved accidentally in some kid’s science project.

Got a huge #git repo to clone you want to speed up? Do a quick first shallow clone, and perform an *unshallow* in the background!

Example with the Linux kernel source tree below.
```
# 234.24 MiB - ready in under a minute
$ git clone --depth 1 --branch v6.2 \
https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git
$ cd linux # start working!
# downloads remaining ~ 2.00 GiB
$ git fetch --unshallow
```
