it's working, it's working.
My plan is to keep the house in pretty good shape right up until Carey gets back, then let it fall apart just a little bit to make her feel needed.
So far we've taken public transit all three days and used the car one time. Today we went to the library and then the grocery store and now we're at the park waiting for the bus home and the boys are reading and Ellie's in the swing. Absolutely Idyllic.
Carey's out of town (we're on day 3/6) and honestly I'm more worried about messing up her cast irons than something happening to the kids
