I know people are suffering with the demise of twitter. I don’t want to minimise their pain. But this is a life lesson for you young folks. Everything is MySpace and Napster. Everything is AOL and GeoCities. Everything is a Zune and an Amazon Fire Phone.
If it’s the first platform you counted on that died and let you down, it’s not the last.
Good news, we'll have a major letter signed by dozens of #LGBTQ #humanrights #privacy #digitalrights #civilliberties #racialjustice and #freeexpression organizations out on Monday opposing #KOSA the poorly named (and terribly drafted) "Kids Online Safety Act."
Top Democrats were trying to sneak it into a must-pass spending package. Hopefully this is enough opposition to stop them. HMU if your *organization* wants to sign on (not individuals at this time)
