Adventure is Nigh! is the project I get the most excited to talk about.

Not only because I think it’s good but because of the collaboration. Sure, I think up scenarios and draw the maps but it’s working together with my players that the story is really fleshed out. Driving from their backstory, yes-ing their decisions, listening when they suggest a better idea than I had.

Here’s the penultimate episode of Season 2… one of the best stories I have a part of making.

@pmtriox the good part of using a VTT is they do the math for you!

It’s going to take a bit, but I’m going to try to learn it.

@Strange_Bundle I’m excited to learn. Got the book/pdf bundle with that nice 25%discount.

A consistent but minor gripe about the D&D combat system was that you could use your action to gain more movement BUT you couldn’t sacrifice your movement to get another action. It’s a little thing but seemed like a inconsistent double standard.

Well with all this OGL talk I started looking at Pathfinder… and sure as shit they have a way to do that built in.

So while an open community and honoring past agreements is important… I really want the 3 “do things” points system.

@xyrer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ must be, I got the 512 with the etched glass screen.

As it turns out, the Steam Deck case also makes for a decent dice box when traveling.

Also, I didn’t win but I did get a nice score.

@vegeta897 I think I get it now.
@Strange_Bundle there’s no jumping, but they do try to throw some mystery and curve balls in. The actual story is pretty strait forward, just pretty dry. If you’ve liked any LotR stuff, you’ll like it.

Amazon’s “Rings of Power” series is dry, dull, and requires that you already have a relatively deep knowledge of the history of Middle Earth.

But I love it, because I love “Lord of the Rings” and I dig just being in that world a little longer.

Is this how those Star Wars fans who loved the prequels felt!?!?!?

Am I legally obligated to write bloated rebuttal blog posts to negative reviews that I see now!!!!?????

@Flyworld Happy Death Day, Palm Springs, Edge of Tomorrow… there’s enough of them now to at least be a sub-genre.
