So confession time!

This is kind of a silly one but figured I'd post it in the off chance that someone is inspired by it or something...

Earlier on I had posted something about a big celebration for my "furry anniversary" or what have you. It's been just about 25 years since I started actually interacting with the concept of a greater furry fandom and many, many years later I've arrived at a time in my life where I'm reconnecting with furry and ageplay and feeling in a way not unlike going to my very first furry conventions at the turn of the millennium.

With all that in mind I had gotten this inkling in my brain that what I might do to celebrate is debut a new, revised fursona. Something that reflected my current state of being... My ideals... My personality... My enhanced connection with my cubby side.

I was fully prepared to chop the 'bear' off my species and go full puppy. I had a headshot sketched and everything.

But then I had a lot of thoughts, a few weird dreams, and then I spent this morning talking with some old friends and looking at artwork from the past 14 or so years...

And I realized that I'm actually really proud of who I am right now.

Those that have known me closely have known I have struggled with various facets of identity over the last decade or so. Bearhardt wasn't even my first fursona! But he's officially my longest now... And I think that says something about him.

So instead of celebrating my big fur-versary by changing my face with a big debut... I'm gonna just keep on being me and be proud of it!
