Good morning, everyone. I was looking at Fosstodon and was really interested in its main topics and such, and I think what I post is similar to what they talk about on Fosstodon. I'd like to see if anyone knows how to get an invitation. I already sent an email just in case.

Sorry if there are grammatical errors, I didn't have more space to write, the limit always pisses me off a little.

Most people want privacy, but... they give away their data for everything, using excuses such as “They won't care,” “If you've got nothing to hide, you've got nothing to fear,” among many others.They use Google for EVERYTHING and want to avoid easy being tracked without paying anything, or if they do, they don't look for free, open-source alternatives.

If most people behave this way and children use Gmail from an early age, do you think they will look for alternatives such as Proton?

@TheJnx Por donde ando si se armo una buena..
@corigan01 Alr, thanks:)
@corigan01 Yes, that could be an option, but the question is what would be the best way to get a prepaid number privately, since that is exactly what is going to happen here where I live. Prepaid numbers will be required to register with ID or they will be deactivated, etc. Would something like Hushed be a solution?
@corigan01 Mainly because Threema doesn't ask for a phone number (and I can pay for Threema with Bitcoin, although not with Monero), some friends I know who are involved in cybersecurity say they would never use Signal when there are better alternatives available (although I haven't been able to find out why). Since I don't have any sources to confirm what my friends are telling me, I decided to ask you, especially since where I live they are starting to ask for ID to get your phone number.
@corigan01 Like what context you would like to know:)?

Good morning, everyone. I need your opinions to decide which messaging app to use on Graphene OS. Currently, I do all my messaging on my S21 Ultra with Molly, but I want to upgrade and move everything to Graphene OS. My two options are:

Threema-free (The version that not use Google) or continue with Molly. What do you think? It would be to talk to my father and some friends who already use both, so either one would work for me.

@serk @devpaps Fdroid is best to not use much, in the Graphene OS Forum and if i am not bad also the Devs of GOS don't recommend F-Droid for some security issues that have
