Look at the wonderful zoning picked out by UV fluorescence in this crystal from Mud Tank, sawn in half at right angles to the c axis. 😍 😍 😍 Look at those wee pale corner blue sectors😊 !. Although Mud Tank zircon is often used as a secondary standard in analysis, AFAIK nobody has ever looked at this sector zoning....🤓 🤔
