Indigenous people in Brazil shed tears of joy as the Supreme Court enshrines their land rights

Indigenous people in Brazil are celebrating after the country's Supreme Court ruled to enshrine their land rights. The decision Thursday removed the imminent threat those protections could be rolled back. The ruling came in a lawsuit brought by Santa Catarina state, backed by farmers, seeking to block an Indigenous group from expanding the size of its territory. Nine of the court’s 11 justices supported the Indigenous group, which has far-reaching implications for territories nationwide. Indigenous people in traditional feather headdresses and body paint danced, sang and jumped for joy in the capital of Brasilia. Though the case involved only one Indigenous group, the Supreme Court said it serve as a precedent for all instances of justice involving Indigenous groups.

So, I'm trying out #Firefish.Social just because I'm curious. It has a cool interface, and it's a little different. Apparently if you import your old Mastodon posts into it, it firehoses them out to all your followers, which I wasn't expecting.
How to I import who I was following from #Mastodon into #Firefish?
This is all too complicated and inconsistent. If I toggle notifications on an account, I should get notifications of that account's posts. Period.

Anyway, I created a Weirdfolks list and added
@[email protected] to it. Nothing shows up when I click on it though. 😛
