Obviously Russia will be exempt.
Too bad the EU didn't do something similar to Hungary in 2012, or earlier, when Orbán really screwed with the system.
Why would Putin meet with Zelensky? He doesn't admit Ukraine exists, and a meeting with Zelensky is recognition that Ukraine exists.
It's a Dumb and Dumber moment: "So you're telling me there's a chance."
Same for the US, once it gets past Trump. If it gets past Trump. Lots of reforms required.
So frustrating.
When Orbán came back to power, I remember reading about his autocratic attempts (taking over courts, media, political system, modifying the constitution), and I wondered why the EU wasn't taking action to limit him, to protect Hungary from a person trying to become a dictator.
I want Orbán gone. I hope the EU realizes that total consensus is too much of a political requirement. And I hope the next time a leader makes an autocratic attempt, the EU reacts swiftly.
I am so hoping Orbán is gone in April.
Every Orbán accusation is a confession.
Such a fool.
Especially the Russian funding for some certain person's bank account.
