Cyfalaf cymdeithasol: y system weithredu sy'n pweru cymuned

Here's Sidney & Joanna, sisters from Virginia & Orlando respectively, at Cardiff Central this morning

We were all off to Manchester. Us for the More in Common conference; they to fly home

They've been in Wales tracing their ancestry, in particular Sidney Rowlands orig. from Malpas nr Newport, then System Street in Adamsdown where he worked at East Moors Steelworks before emigrating to the US

Naturally we thrust a Splott pocket museum in their hands, took a pic & added it to our presentation

Early start tomorrow

Off to Manchester and the More In Common conference where we'll be presenting our Splott pocket museum project

Splott Community Volunteers and Inksplott to tell the Story of #Splott in 50 Objects. We're near completion & can't wait to share the results with the wider community

What 50 Objects would YOU choose to tell the story of your community?
