I am awake, I have the first gross cold of the year, and while preparing to sprint through some thumbs, I wanna focus on something positive:

Like, EVERY song that comes on, all 100 of them, I start screaming cuz it's GOOOOD. Thank you, past me and Spotify's algorithms. I love this. <3

I woke up very late this afternoon to find that my sister and brother in law had arrived at our house with a paper bag of fresh Chantrelles they'd harvested from Corvallis.

I became excessively excited and resolved to make a golden dinner with saffron rice, pan-fried mushroom, and baked squash with brown sugar.

These ingredients are all super expensive when you're not getting them as gifts (well ok squash is cheap) and I feel VERY fancy. XD #Cooking

While agonizing about a 60 dollar purchase of a new wacom stylus on Amazon, I dropped my kinda broken backup stylus behind my drawing table, and while rummaging around for it, discovered in the dust behind my chair the NEW Stylus I'd lost a few weeks ago and was desperately hoping not to have to replace.

Today is not so bad. <3
