@MW1CFN have you tried a Full Wave Vertical Delta Loop fed at a lower corner ? Fed with a 4 to 1 Balun for the lowest band can work multiple bands with slightly better gain than a vertical. I’m playing around with one now. I have mine cut for 30M so it’s 75 feet circumference. I can work 80,40,30,20,15,12,10M. High bands 15M and higher propagate off the ends of the loop, and lower than 20M Im getting Directional strength broadside of the loop supposedly 2db better than a vertical. I am transmitting farther than I could with my multiband 43 foot vertical. Next month going to play with a (49:1) End Fed in the shape of a Half-Square antenna. Someone had played around with the shape in Mana-Gal and it showed a pattern very close to a normal Half Square Antenna fed with coax at the corner. Should be interesting
