@Bookwitty @scarletkrystal For several years I had a bookshop and often dogs were coming in (mostly with their owners on the lead), and that also was a fine combination. I think, it's a gift not at least of well-educated animals to make the world a human place, and, of course, bookstores, too.

@scarletkrystal Hello Alex! Thank you for your energizing intro. I'm reading ANECDOTES OF DESTINY by Karen Blixen. How do you like Gogol? I've read many years ago his novel (THE DEAD SOULS? is that the English title?) and should read it a second time. His plays are completely new to me. Can you recommend one especially and maybe give reasons for your choice?

@einebiene ITAL.EIS stand oder steht immer noch auf diesen Eiswagen. Zu meiner Kindheit gab es den Milchmann und den Scherenschleifer. Ich habe manchmal direkt beim Bauern Milch für uns gekauft. So eine rahmige Milch würde ich gern noch einmal trinken, und nicht dies filtrierte weiße Wasser, das man heute als Milch verkauft.

@einebiene Ja, Pepsi light ist bestimmt nicht mit Mineralstoffen versetzt, und das "light" klingt auch sehr verdächtig ... Also: klingt nach einer guten Idee!
