Graham Bookish@scarletkrystal Hello Alex! Thank you for your energizing intro. I'm reading ANECDOTES OF DESTINY by Karen Blixen. How do you like Gogol? I've read many years ago his novel (THE DEAD SOULS? is that the English title?) and should read it a second time. His plays are completely new to me. Can you recommend one especially and maybe give reasons for your choice?
@scarletkrystal PS Another book I forgot to mention is THE CINNAMON SHOPS by Bruno Schulz - simply wonderful: poetic, surreal, baroque, compassionate, haunting.
