So, I'm finding out the hard way that if you start a new Mastodon server, nobody can find you.

This is a shameless request for some boosts so some of the bigger instances see me.

Active Mastodon users have grown 800% in recent month and is attracting Mozilla and Firefox to set up servers.

Steve Teixeira, chief product officer at Mozilla-owned by an non-profit foundation- โ€œOur intention is to contribute to the healthy and sustainable growth of a federated social space that doesnโ€™t just operate but thrives on its own terms, independent of profit- and control-motivated tech firms,โ€ saidโ€ฆ.โ€ Getting to the internet we want from the internet we have will be a heavy liftโ€

Please boost if you want Labour, LibDems and Greens to cooperate at the next election in order to oust the Tories and introduce PR so that we never again have to endure a Tory Government with an eighty seat majority, secured with only 43% of the popular vote.

Corporate profits only accounted for roughly 11% of price growth from 1979 to 2019.

Today, record corporate profits account for 53.9% of price increases.

Folks, corporate greed is driving inflation, not workers asking for better wages.

@RDHale Tories don't want a deal, they just want to start a war between the public & unions, at the start I was worried the public were stupid enough to fall for it as they did in the past but old Tory tricks aren't working now, it's about fucking time!

Every time you post on Twitter, you produce value for the advertisers.

You tell everyone in your network there that it's OK to stay. That you're all helpless to leave.

You tell the people who've lost their jobs, the people who are being hounded and harassed, that they are not important to you.

You know you're going to be ashamed of it later.

Just stop posting.

Do it here, not there. Connect here, not there.

Don't reply, don't like, don't retweet.

Stop feeding your life into the machine.

The people going on strike at the moment are not enemies of the general public.

They are the general public, and they deserve to be paid enough to heat their homes as well as to put food on the table.
