is there a proper term for "waking up and feeling violent"? I don't feel in a particularly foul mood, but I'm very ready to start something despite consciously not wanting to.

I want to bite something

not to “Thing, Japan” too much but I am legitimately upset/jealous that the Japanese music economy is so much healthier than ours. CDs still make up like ~40% of sales over there. You can buy lossless albums online at retail price and then just have FLAC files. There are like three to four different mainstream audio storefronts that carry streaming-level catalogs. I don’t understand

I was looking to buy a single that I quite like, but wasn’t ever put on Bandcamp or anything. I didn’t want to buy a 320K MP3, I wanted lossless. Couldn’t find an American lossless purchase link.

Turned on a Japanese VPN, went to Ototoy, bought a FLAC file of the song for like, $1.50. It was just there, and I paid with PayPal. And then I could find that song on like three other websites too.

Why the hell don’t we get nice things like this. Why is all we get Qobuz with a tiny library, or, like. 256k AAC iTunes purchases???

Ok this dragon typeface is actually really cool
stayed up all night fixing up a friends vrchat avatar, hyperfocused to hell and back. I enjoyed it, but man being back at work while mentally on the same "day" just feels awful
