@koopa512 For me, it lets me manage all my packages, and my dotfiles, and my systemd services in a single git repo while allowing me to temporarily use a tool without installing it permanently.
@niko yeah, learnt this writing a rust wrapper for it and resorted to calling out the CLI in the end because I just did not trust that codebase in my memory space lol
@woof how will this even work on the protocol level? The relay refuses to send NSFW posts to an AppView for a user with no age verification?
@weirdtreething It's very nice, as someone new to networking it solves all my issues.
@w tailscale tailscale tailscale
@esm @kescher @ShadowJonathan that's fair, have discord not fixed attachment uploading counting for the 5 seconds limit ever?
@esm @kescher @ShadowJonathan I'm running my large bot on hetzner in Germany, people don't massively care about the 200ms latency in a discord bot context

 Today (Nov 20) is the Transgender Day of Rememberance (#TDoR), and especially today I want to dedicate and remember 2 things on my mind;

 The encroaching fascism on all trans and marginalised peoples of the world, which is continually ongoing, but seems to have flared up especially as of late. Remember those who have suffered for everyone to get here, that we even have protections and rights in the first place.

 The trans men who are among us, who are even more hidden in the shadows than trans women are in society, who suffer quietly, and disappear silently. I want to especially dedicate today's day to them, people just like us who just want to be happy with themselves, and proudly be who they are.

@djlink this is because they replaced an accuracy focused C implementation which they banned using intrinsics for with a speed focused ASM implementation, this is massively overhyped.

Like yeah, when you use SIMD, you get performance speed ups, it's FFmpeg's fault they ban using SIMD in C.

Mushroom Peaks: Secret Track or Removal?

Mushroom Peaks was the first CT of its kind when it was released in 2009. Though it retains iconic status, it has grown divisive in CTGP due to its difficult gameplay and dated design decisions: while driving a number of players away from CTGP, it has also retained a dedicated fan club of players. During the Christmas update this year, Mushroom Peaks will either: Replace Disco Fever as one of CTGP's secret tracks and receive a minor update to improve respawns and intrusive walls (aka Bean Corners). Disco Fever will be put on the next removal poll; should it not be voted out, Disco Fever will become a non-secret track in CTGP. Be removed from the pack. Disco fever will remain a secret track in CTGP. Because of Peaks' iconic status, and the unique nature of this decision, the CTGP Track Council has opted to hold a poll to determine the outcome of this decision. Outcomes: >50% for Option 1 --> Option 1 will occur >=60% for Option 2 --> Option 2 will occur 50-60% for Option 2 --> Mushroom Peaks will go on the usual December removal poll. If it is not removed, it will become a secret track and Disco Fever will go on a removal poll. If Disco Fever is not removed, it will remain in the pack as a regular track. The outcomes are structured so that a 3/5 supermajority is required to remove Peaks outright on this poll, as that is the most drastic of the two options. This poll will close at 5:00 PM EST on Monday, November 4th
