Biden just said he's “going to try to get rid of assault weapons” during the lame-duck. The US House already passed an assault weapons ban, so now the Senate must vote. We're still waiting for more information about the shooter - was he ANOTHER WHITE MAN? The vast majority of mass shootings are perpetrated by white men. At least this time, it doesn't seem to have involved an assault rifle, though that's no comfort.
