I've made a football management game inspired by the classic 8-bit games of the early 1980s for Pico-8, so you can play it in your browser on your PC and phone.
So, if you selected zero players, a division by zero error would lead to you scoring a goal every minute of the game.
Bug fix - if you select fewer than 11 players, the game picks the players for you.
I thought I was getting close to finishing, but this, this is a new bug entirely. #pico8
@c64 yeah, I posted this on the wrong account.
A big issue with Football Manager 80's was that it was far too easy. While investigating the match code, I discovered I'd set up the computer teams with only 9 players, and the players' squad members all had 10% extra skill.
Fixing this has made the game more challenging. #pico8
Back on the "Football Manager 80's" #pico8 grind. The transfer market in and out is working now. Getting to the end, and running out of tokens fast.
Finished Outer Worlds. It's not very good. Tries to be Mass Effort and Fallout, but fails on both accounts. It's okay, but it never really engages as much as it should.
Can't believe Newcastle Utd are playing this screen from Jet Set Willy 2 in the Champions League.
