The instance I'm on is, evidently, shutting down. It is a huge instance run from Germany. That is the reason I chose it. Moderation is another reason to trust this instance. Moderation is also a big component for the reason to shut down. I'm fucked off because transferring instances is a rigmarole. I'm also sad! I'd love it if @ralf reconsidered.

I purchased a new phone. Transferring data was easy. Logging into apps not so. Received notis going back months ... I thought open source was 'everything' 🤔
