For those using #HelixEditor and waiting for the newest version to appear in your package manager of choice, here is a nice overview:
“Giving students iPads or allowing them to film homework assignments on YouTube prepares them for a high-tech economy about as much as playing with Hot Wheels would prepare them to thrive as auto mechanics.” - Cal Newport.
This footnote stuck with me. I see this in a lot of young people. They know how to operate stuff but not many of them are interested in how it works or how to build it themselves.
I simply cannot get used to the order of the systemd commands.
I'm always typing:
systemctl nginx restart
But it needs to be:
systemctl restart nginx
Probably muscle memory from other tools that do it in a more 'hierarchical' way: service nginx restart
Much more logical, no? 🙂
