Submitted my Veni full proposal. I have mixed feelings.
Grateful: A lot of people helped me out, couldn't have done it without them.
Stressed: It is crazy how little time you get, especially if you (like me) work 0.8 fte and have kids. It's two months, of which two weeks are Christmas.
Annoyed: It's such wasteful way to distribute research funding.
Anyway: it's not an academic rat race. It's a lottery, and we are all hamsters in a balls, running around thinking we can influence the outcome.

Sterke, multidisciplinaire, voorstelling. En het zal helemaal vol met twintigers! Ik voelde me een oude zak, maar wat een geweldige sfeer.
