The GA has released a joint statement, in collaboration with the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), the Field Studies Council and Discover the World Education, welcoming the post-pandemic reinstatement of fieldwork requirements to GCSE and A level geography.

The statement signals the wholehearted support of all four organisations for the place of fieldwork within geography qualifications and curricula in schools.
