@Amandajs0 welcome! Try to post something especially an #introduction as this helps people to decide whether they follow you. Interact with other's posts by favouriting (star) or, better, boost (left hand arrow) as that pushes you into time lines and more will follow you. Sue.

@DavidPNoble63 Hello David, welcome to Mastodon. Computer onscreen is easier than using a phone. Would suggest following about 10 people a day till you get used to it. SydesJokes on Twitter has done a transfer directory. to make it easier to find people. Also do a post in #introductions with lots of # plus keywords. as you then will be seen and picked up but people with similar interests. Sue x
