Donald Drumpf & his billionaire pals paid almost nothing in taxes during his Presidency, no charitable donations, ripped off an uncountable number of his misguided supporters, yet continue asking us to fund billionaire backed charities for their special projects. Yes, we should feed our children, house the homeless, care for our wounded vets, rescue our animals, save the planet, and more, but I just wish the a-holes who make the most would buck up or shut up and start paying their fair share.

Fear is the killer.
@rbreich
Even though I wouldn't be upset to see locking Drumph up in stocks placed out in front of the Lincoln Memorial, we must make the punishment of criminal behavior about reducing the risk of future, similar crime. It can not be about retribution or revenge; no matter how appealing it may sound.
Question for those who say prosecuting a former president sets a dangerous precedent: Isn’t it more dangerous to set a precedent that a former president will never face accountability for breaking the law and inciting an insurrection?

He also managed to turn the phrase, "piss on you" into a more acceptable "trickle down economics". Rotten Ronnie Reagan was my choice for worst President in American history until Drumph came along; and even then he only lost by the thinnest of margins.

And he was one who began the process of deregulation in America and started us down the road of the rich getting richer while the poor get f***ed. It was "The Great Communicator" who convinced a large segment of America that the organizations who fought bloody battles to get us an 8 hour day, a forty hour week, holiday pay, overtime, medical insurance and more, were the biggest problem in America not the fat cats on Wall Street.

Rupert Murdoch and other "Low Men" of the Republican party convinced Ronald Reagan to put an end to the Fairness Doctrine. That coupling led to the birth of Faux News and other Right Wing lie factories. Why did they do it? Becuse, targeting humanity's baser instincts of fear, anger and hate not only generates wealth, it wins elections ... for a while.

We must "choose wisely"

Yes, fusion holds great promise, but for now, we must continue to explore and utilize every opportunity to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. And I feel we must include Small modular reactors (SMRs). Until fusion arrives, we must include limited use of fission, aka. nuclear reactors.

@georgetakei
Absolutely, agree George! Every life form on this planet (universe) makes a contribution to the sum total of sustaining life. We can be the self awareness of life on earth, the new planetary immune/defense system (recent nudging of astroid), the new reproductive system, life to the stars or, we can be the virus that destroys life on earth (or close to). The choice is ours. In defense of this argument, let me remind that no other species on earth has the ability to make this choice.
