at any time within the temporal continuum, no less. Honestly, I think one of the greatest damages this country ever did to itself was allowing the Confederazis to play the victim after they lost the civil war they started in hopes of continuing to own people like livestock. I am white, and pigs like Vicky Baggett provide ample evidence that there is NO such thing as a superior race.

Sorry, had that in my craw, needed to fish it out.

@Bullix @RiversideBryan @juddlegum I agree. I’m from the Deep South and what I saw there growing up was horrific.

And the thing is, that I don't only blame the south. Because racism and segregation were EVERYWHERE in the early 20th century on back. For example, Colorado, my home state, was controlled politically by the F-ing KLAN for a period in the 1920s.

Behold, from the Canon City newspaper in colorado, 1926:

Sadly, more truth in this than I would prefer to have to acknowledge...about any state. I miss loving all the states without having this culture war shit turn us against each other forever. I blame Fux "News" for the modern wave of klanistans.

Rupert Murdoch and other "Low Men" of the Republican party convinced Ronald Reagan to put an end to the Fairness Doctrine. That coupling led to the birth of Faux News and other Right Wing lie factories. Why did they do it? Becuse, targeting humanity's baser instincts of fear, anger and hate not only generates wealth, it wins elections ... for a while.
@GeoffBC @jag0325 @sitKonrad @RiversideBryan @juddlegum
yep. And Reagan was no stranger to that kinda crap anyway. I mean, he closed the state mental health system in the largest state in the union.

And he was one who began the process of deregulation in America and started us down the road of the rich getting richer while the poor get f***ed. It was "The Great Communicator" who convinced a large segment of America that the organizations who fought bloody battles to get us an 8 hour day, a forty hour week, holiday pay, overtime, medical insurance and more, were the biggest problem in America not the fat cats on Wall Street.
@Bullix @jag0325 @sitKonrad @[email protected] @juddlegum
He also managed to turn the phrase, "piss on you" into a more acceptable "trickle down economics". Rotten Ronnie Reagan was my choice for worst President in American history until Drumph came along; and even then he only lost by the thinnest of margins.
