The number of kidsā activities that start prior to 8am these days is a crime against humanity. My kids have two totally separate activities that started before 8am this morning. My parents never had to suffer this. š

I take no position on the legal theory underlying the Trump indictment, except as follows: I suspect that no one raising the rule of lenity or constitutional protections against vagueness has ever tried getting a court to actually grant a defendant protection under such a theory.
