Baby puffins are called "pufflings."

That's it, I just had to share.

So I cannot stress enough that I absolutely love this dog's deep adoration for every creature on earth and her utter and undying belief that despite the fact she is part coyote if any animal gives her chance they will be the bestest of friends.

So we have moved past her impulse to gently pick up hissing, clicking, furious groundhogs like puppies in an effort to be buddies but I really think this is a project we need to give up on.

Somebody remembered to buy dog booties BEFORE it snowed this winter

(and by somebody I mean me, the dog is far more responsible and together)
