I completely can't relate. I had a good relationship with my parents and community. It was small and rural. I was not exposed to anything of the sort you describe.
I can empathize. It is a lot of miss placed guilt for a young person to carry.
For what it's worth the world desperately needs capable and compassionate nurses. Always has.
