Have you noticed that writers always try to sell their books to other writers? Yes, occasionally a writer MIGHT buy a book from another writer, but this is quite infrequent. Think about being at the fair. Do sellers at fairs run around with big shopping bags, buying everyone else's goods? No. They are there to sell and other fair vendors don't actively try to sell to them. Why does this not register with writers?
