Why did I start my own Pleroma instance if I rarely post anywhere? I have no idea, but I'm here anyways. I also do not know why I plan on posting project updates here since I'm the only one here and have blocked search indexing. In any case. expect rare updates about my Lbry channel and the Cabin Fever Minetest server. Now go and follow someone who is actually vaguely committed to posting regularly and stop wandering to obscure, boring places on the internet! Srsly, it's very dull here.

Today's tea is peach brulé. It's another one of the noir collection and is a black tea with mango, marigold and I assume peach.
It has an interesting smell to the leaves, not bad, just unusual. I feel like I can definitely smell a bit of mango in there. The leaves look nice as usual and have chunks of the ingredients listed. As far as the actual taste though, this basically tastes like peach tea. This tastes of a better quality than the stuff I get at the store, but I am not all that impressed. Tbf I am not really a peach person. I don't dislike peach, but it doesn't get me excited either. The peach pretty much dominates the other flavors including that of the tea itself.
I give it a 3/5. Good if you want a nice peach tea.

Today's tea is caramel nougat which is part of their noir collection which seems to be roasted first flush assam. I was skeptical as most desert teas taste pretty artificial, but this both smells and tastes like caramel. I kept expecting my teeth to feel fuzzy from sugar because of how convincing it is lol. A solid 4/5 flavor. Idk how they did it, but I'm all for it.

Now that the backlog is out of the way, today's tea is black currant. It's a black tea with blackberry leaves and I assume currant. I didn't see any fruit bits with the leaves, but I could definitely smell it. The actual flavor was as expected, very much dominated by the berries, which in this instance is fine (versus the citrus mint where you would have hoped would taste at least a little like citrus and not just mint, but I digress.) I would have preferred the berry flavor been a bit more subtle so I could taste the tea more, but I still enjoyed it. I give it a 3/5. A solid choice if you want a nice berry flavored tea. I would also think this would be somewhat helpful if you have a sore throat as blackberry leaves are amazing for that. Since I do not have a sore throat ATM, I can't test that.

So I am a bit behind, but I have 3 more teas to review. African solstice is rooibos tea with sweet berries and rose. I was a bit sceptical as rooibos isn't my favorite tea, but I was pleasantly surprised. You can definitely smell the berries. It tasted strongly of berries, but it was balanced out by the other ingredients. I was worried about it being sour because of the berries, but the sweet berries lived up to their name, the tea was actually pretty sweet (should be noted I drink my tea plain. Even though I originally hail from Florida, I can't stand sweet tea). Didn't think I'd do this given my rather poor first experience with rooibos, but I give this tea a solid 5/5. This will definitely be going into my rotation.

Next tea is vanilla pear. It's a white tea with vanilla orchid (yes, the vanilla plant is in point of fact an orchid, hence why real vanilla is crazy expensive) and baked pear. It wasn't horrible, but I wasn't impressed by the flavor. Honestly it tasted pretty artificial. 2.5/5, wouldn't be mad if you gave it to me, but wouldn't buy this myself.

Last tea is citrus mint. It's an herbal tea with well, peppermint and citrus. The smell was promising, but sadly the mint dominated the flavor on this one. Granted it is probably the smoothest mint tea I've had, but it does not taste of citrus at all. I give it 3/5. Good if you want a nice mint tea, but don't expect any citrus flavor.

That catches us up for now, now to go brew a another pot.....

So today's tea is Darjeeling quince which is a black tea with citrus, hibiscus and quince. Right of the bat, it has a strong smell of citrus and...something else. It smelled really good, and as per usual, the leaf quality looks good and there are chunks of the other ingredients. The taste is amazing. The tea reminds me a bit of the orange pekoe tea i used to drink as a child in Florida, with overtones of something else I haven't had before (I assume quince). I highly recommend this tea, 5 out of 5, would buy again.

Next tea up is blueberry merlot, which is a herbal tea with blueberry and sage. The smell is primarily of blueberries but you can smell the sage a bit. The leaves also have dried fruit in them which I am impressed with. The actual flavor though mainly tastes of sage which I wasn't too crazy about. The blueberry is still noticeable though, but it adds a bit of a sourness to it. I give it a 3 out of 5. Not bad, but not something I'd necessarily seek out.

Today's tea is cherry blossom. It's a green tea that is cherry flavored. The smell is very nice and smells strongly of sweet cherries. The cherry flavor is a bit more subtle but still noticeable. I also noticed when looking at the leaves that the tea leaf bits were nice and large and I even saw a dried cherry! For a nice quality fruit flavored green tea that doesn't taste overwhelmingly of hibiscus as so many other fruit flavored teas do, I give it a solid 4 out of 5, would buy again if I want a fruit tea.

So I brought a loose leaf sampler and I decided I should rate each flavor if only for my own sake. I will rate on a scale of one to 5 where 1 is I don't like it at all, 2 is bad, 3 is I could take it or leave it, but I don't dislike it, 4 is I like it and I would buy it again and 5 is epic. Today's tea is chamomile citron. The smell of the leaves is kinda weird and quite frankly smells kinda bad. However the actual flavor of the tea itself is dominated by the chamomile with aslight hint of something else. As I was typing this I also noted a slight aftertaste. Not a bad one, but it's there. I wasn't that crazy about it, but it's not bad either so it gets a 3 from me.
I was doing a puzzle while listening to some 10th avenue north and thought about how in darkest dungeon you are trying to defeat these bosses and defeat the looming evil with these flawed characters. Some have vices, some are drunks, potentially pervs and some are just plain crazy but they are what you've got. It occurred to me that God does something very similar - he obviously doesn't toss us aside 'cause he decides we aren't worth it nor does he promote the morality objectionable actions that sometimes happen in the game but I digress, but he does use us, flawed as we are to do his will. He doesn't need us to be perfect, just willing to do his will. Anywho, back to doing puzzles.....
Based off my results of some music quizzes on buzzfeed, I have come to the conclusion that I live under a rock. xD My tastes tend towards more hard rock and metal, especially melodic death metal and I would think my most listened to artists are wolfheart and insomnium. Ah well, it's cozy here under this rock lol. I don't have any problem with people who like pop music, but most of today's popular music is absolutely annoying to me. Can't stand the stuff. To each their own IG.
