Apparently it’s International Potato Day 🥔 today May 30th. I do love potatoes. I’ve had this twofer M & horseshoe block for ages. I also have a new to me selection of lovely big woodtype. Both were looking for a print to be created. Then I saw the @johnmulaney 🐴 skit for the first time and laughed so so much (2018 but new to me, easy to find on YouTube)a welcome moment of lightness among the awful news that seems to appear daily. 28 Feb is #rarediseaseday In UK, pop ~6.34M, I’m one of ~8,400 with Addison’s Disease. There’s no cure. With lifelong treatment it’s manageable, but can, & has been life threatening. I’m also an artist, these prints, made into a freestanding zigzag bookart are 1st science based work I created. Now i’ve a growing body of sci-art.
