oh lead paint is pretty good! You used to be able to just chip it off the walls if you needed a snack. Wonder why they changed it.
lol I do this even when my brain is screaming not to, but for me it's "after I block the jump in they're gonna go for a low" and my brain skips a beat.
ryu is not very blessed in that game. he's like a pistol in a game full of nuclear bombs, but if you're really dedicated and creative you can squeeze some mileage out of him. I don't know for sure but he could probably benefit from rocket's assists to extend things and help him in neutral. I've seen him work miracles when paired up with sentinel mostly.
but real talk if he's feeling good you should run with it and see what kinda stuff you can figure out. that's the fun part IMHO. If you like what he does but find him a bit lacking, I see you have akuma kinda high up on that list, and akuma is pretty silly. I see you have doom on there too, and doom is great glue for any team, but also everyone plays ___/Doom/Vergil lol.
dormammu totally freaking rules and has a lot of cool stuff to play with, and he fits what you're looking for as far as playstyle, but also he's a huge target, moves kinds clunky till you get used to him, and has a spell stacking mechanic, but he's definitely worth trying out.
Vtech Magic Star Learning Table: I need to be able to read the position of the center dial to make this into a functional keyboard. I've got an optical encoder for it and 3D printed a matching gear.
Remaining problems:
1. writing code to talk to the optical encoder. Haven't tested this yet.
2. Figuring out how to mount the encoder PCB so it'll stay in place
3. Bodging the main PCB to support the numpad
