@JennyLLillard ha! Sheer marketing genius on the part of the owner.
@JennyLLillard This beats by far the band name FREE BEER. Love it.

Greetings from another Twitter refugee! I'm the co-founder of SFWA's Writer Beware, and I mostly post about writing-related schemes and scams, as well as general publishing info and stuff of interest to writers. Links of interest in my bio. I'll be cross-posting from my Twitter account for the moment, and seeing how things go. Glad to be here.
@victoriastrauss
Hey Victoria, a public shoutout and big thanks for Writer Beware. You're a writers' heroine!
@katemcginty
Interesting topic for sure! You're not alone. As a musician who has his own home recording studio and also plays out in various bands in various settings, I've definitely been the victim of loud music. On stage, band volume can be insane. In my studio, I play right into that pesky Fletcher-Munson Curve, cranking my guitar amp or the music from my monitor speakers loud enough so it "comes alive." Ear fatigue is another trap that tricks me into upping the vol.
@jacquelinewest
Great to meet you, Jacqueline! When not dodging tumbleweeds from our two constantly shedding furry mutt rescues, I'm also writing MG/YA. BTW, totally shocked and thrilled how awesome vegetarian/vegan cooking has gotten in the last few years. I'm not 100% by any means yet, but when I do eat V, I don't miss cheese or meat AT
ALL.
@ankingwrites
Your mention of "rainy" made me think of ambient recordings like waves lapping on the beach or rain storms etc. THAT would work for me. Gonna have to explore this idea!

Hey Lauren: read the article you shared "Why Some Disabled People Can't Work." I learned a lot. Thank you!
