@gja What I see if I search for tidycensus on mas.to with the account I just use for reading when I'm logged in. I get no results if I'm not logged in.
@gja If you search for tidycensus on mas.to you would see my post today from my account at [email protected] IF you were logged in there. I opened an account there for reading only to check what my own instance was seeing vs what people were seeing there. But you need to have an account and be logged in, you can't see it if you're not logged in.

@gja I've implemented it in a little personal instance running on masto.host and like it. It's off on all accounts by default, so you have to opt in, which protects people who don’t want it.
It may make smaller general purpose (not regional or topic-specialized) instances less appealing for people who like full text search, though. The difference in results seems more noticeable than with hashtags somehow.

Hanson's Farm #Framingham Oktoberfest postponed to this weekend (Sept 30-Oct 1) due to rain last weekend.
Sat 9-6, Sun 9-5:30.
There will be a Beer Garden from 12 to 4 PM both days and food for sale including pretzels, ice cream, pulled pork, bratwurst, loaded baked potatoes, Mexican Street Corn, buttered corn, and a s’mores bar. Live music scheduled from 1 to 3 PM.
Plus the usual corn maze, sunflower patch, and pumpkin patch.
$20 for ages13+, $15 for kids 6 to 12, 5 & younger free
