@mothninja Since the alt-text wasn't sure: this character is from Mass Effect. They're a member of the Elcor race, who don't physically or audibly emote, so they announce their emotional intent before saying what they have to say. I always enjoyed interacting with them in the games.

@threeofus I'm no expert, and this is probably unethical, and it would take a lot of effort, but...
Buy a domain like "mainstream media sux dot com" and start an anonymous blog with all the stuff he's been saying, but back-date it so it looks like it came out before he said it. Then tell him you found a site you thought he might like. Gradually start introducing reasonable, level-headed concepts about community involvement, respect for family, or whatever might motivate him to exist more IRL.
