Risk averse, Mamma (not mom), friend. Believe in care and courage, love, kindness & persistent rage. A sucker for good food, good wine, live jazz, and a beautifully crafted sentence. Usually willing to shake my moneymaker. Probably checking out your shoes. I'm trying to be a better person every day - failing frequently. Blackety black

@rashunda @blackfedi I’m still in deep mourning for D’Angelo

In 1970, Marshall McLuhan stated that “World War III is a guerrilla information war with no division between military and civilian participation.” – #Culture is Our #Business, p. 66.

just saw the most wholesome thing: Rick Astley singing his signature song, i think, at Glastonbury and all the security personnel doing the choreography.

Astley’s second wave of fame because of a silly HTML game is what makes the internet great. we need to rediscover that silliness.

@blogdiva I thought it was just me. I have to be in a particularly peaceful mental space to watch live.
@paninid I….I need to believe this is not real.
@gwynnion This is so pure and so loving that I can feel my heart expanding.
@paninid My dad always said "never buy a house that hasn't been through a real storm."

Improvement comes through practice.

Remember that.

We’re not in the timeline where wishcasting, prayers, and smashing like and subscribe make things better.

We’re just not.

@zackwhittaker You did so much good work this year.

@siderea This is a pretty common situation for dual nationality households. We found our tax person (an age ago) by checking the US Consulate website in our international city. They kept a list of tax professionals experienced with both US and local country taxes.

You could probably ask around your local friend group and find someone who's "got a person".
