@FirstProgenitor If you recall the old meme where Mastodon is Plato's academy on matters of gender but crying toddlers when race is brought up, Bluesky is Plato's academy on gender when the people fucking up are cis, crying toddlers the second it's about someone else's transition

@FirstProgenitor The worst thing about Bluesky by far, and it isn't even close, is that a good proportion of the users on there who are actually capable of critical thought on every other topic immediately become concussed the second they're asked to consider someone contemplating transition or not yet fully transitioned. It happens every few weeks. The only variance is how many weeks it takes between incidents, somewhere between 3 (generously discounting interim holdovers from the last incident) to 5. If they ever managed 6 I'd be impressed.
