Co jest źródłowym mac? Mac GW, mac twojego hosta czy coś innego?
Pierwsze co mi przychodzo do głowy to, że jesteś wpięty i po kablu i po WiFi do tego samego segmentu. Pakiet wyszedł po kablu, wrócił po WiFi.

First try if network is OK:
1. Ping 10.10.0.1 from the same place you used cli client
If it works then routing/interfaces seems to be on ok state.
2. Then telnet to the same ip and port used by mysql
If it works then you can rule out firewall and network
3. Use tcpdump to rule out revdns (however lack of revdns would hang connection for few seconda not longer).
Other than that - increase debug on client/server side is the only thing left.

@ssamulczyk take a look at mikrotik android app. Looks a bit better but it's still basically a wrapper for Api. If you are network guy then #mikrotik is great. Yes it's takes time to learn it but the gain is worth it. Basically the best approach to mikrotik is ssh+cli. If you just want an fire forget solution than #unfi UBIQUITI UXG-Lite will be good for you 🙂

Anyway addidng extra kernel option should be possible on live cd as well. It won't be permanent but for testing purposes it should ok.

Have you tried using kernel option? Although it sounds its only for fb it helped in my case with wide screen display (3440x1440@45) and nvidia and wayland.
