Dams won't fix the drought, California.
The media is circling the drain on "wow we got so much rain it shouldve fixed the drought" and will wind up at "welp we should build more dams" and I invite you to take a look at the Auburn Folsom Dam that was canceled because if, and when, it failed-- because they were building it on shale-- it would've drowned a city of 50,000 people.
The Colorado River crisis is so bad, lakes Mead and Powell are unlikely to refill in our lifetimes.
The megadrought over the last 23 years has worsened the water deficit and left Lake Mead about 70% empty. Upstream, Lake Powell has declined to just 23% of full capacity.
“To think that these things would ever refill requires some kind of leap of faith that I, for one, don’t have,” said Brad Udall, a water and climate scientist at Colorado State University.

If you're Neurodivergent or LGBTQ+ and you want to play the dumb wizard game I wont even side eye you. I won't play it, I boycott that woman, and I used to be obsessed with the books.
But your own identity is not an allegiance. You don't have to act perfectly. No one can jump you in or out of being LGBTQ+. You are allowed to choose for yourself. You're not morally failing for choosing otherwise.
Even Claudette Colvin was given time to grow up.
